1 Pour barbecue sauce or marinade into some large mixing bowl or flat pan. Add liquid smoke to the marinade according to the directions.

2 Combine the liquid smoke with the marinade. Add Worcestershire sauce and seasonings to the mixture as desired.

3 Pour the marinade and liquid smoke mixture above the beef or chicken. Rub it in the meat's area, plus let sit down with one to two hours.

4 Place the beef in the oven or on the griddle to cook. Baste the beef every 30 minutes to one hour by way of the liquid smoke blend by brushing it above the surface.

5 Pour liquid smoke inside some spray bottle, and spritz it on the meat while it remains cooking . Spray the beef more generally for a heavier smoke flavor.
