Circle your calendars & start planning the ultimate gift. The galactic tumblers have aligned, and this year, Arbitrary Day and Global reddit Meetup Day, are both going down on June 25th.
It's the second annual installment of both of these reddit holidays, and to make this year even more glorious, the folks at reddit gifts have launched a new section to help plan, organize, and attend meetups. If you don't see your city on the list, don't worry. The list will be constantly growing, and we expect to have meetups in all the major cities. You could even start planning it!
Almost 4,000 redditors in 50 countries participated in last year's Arbitrary Day gift exchange, and we're hoping to triple that number this year.
'''reddit Gifts says:'''
"''What's Arbitrary Day, you ask? It's really simple. Arbitrary Day is a holiday that celebrates nothing in particular. It's about making a stranger happy. It works just like Secret Santa but with less meaning! Sign ups are open from now until May 27th.''"
But wait, there's more! June 25th is also National Catfish Day, so if you are looking for something to bring to your local meetup, catfish would be an excellent treat.
